Abstract

The temperature is a climatic element of great influence in the development of the vegetable potential. The present work presents as objective to analyze the spatial and temporal temperature profile variability in protected environment under different ages of covering plastic. Three greenhouses were used with different plastic ages, measuring the air temperature at three vertical heights, distant in relation to the soil surface (0.85, 1.7 and 3.4 m), as horizontal, along the greenhouse length, proceeding 3 readings during the day (07:00, 13:00 and 18:00), using a digital thermometer infrared with laser, during a period of 23 days. The results showed with this experiment that there is a temperature variation in all heights and mainly at 13:00.
