Resumo:
the job of the technology of Soil-cement is undoubtedly one of the more
practices alternative Solutions for the classic problems that involve the building site, because
he/she allies his/her economical viability and easy execution to the environmental preservation.
The bricks of Soil-cement incorporate all those qualities seen that, in his/her production, a
manual press is used, instead of it burns her, of easy execution and that it just requests of soil
and a small amount of cement. In this project it tried to apply this technology to qualify five
rural communities' of the municipal district of Cajazeirinhas-PB residents, where there were
appropriate conditions for accomplishment of this activity. The Project was divided in three
parts: presentation of the team to the communities and collection of the soils, analysis of the
samples of soils in the laboratories of UFCG and return of the team of extending for
accomplishment of the training mini-courses. All of the analyzed soils presented excellent
conditions for application in the mixture of Soil-cement needing only 12% of cement for
stabilization. The communities presented plenty enthusiasm and interest in learning the new
technology contributing so that the mini-courses turned plenty efficient and pleased.
