Resumo:
The biodigestor is a system where the organic substance suffers a process from
anaerobic fermentation and has for purpose, the valuation of the organic dejections for agricultural
use, the reduction and the stabilization of the organic substance, the removal of pathogens and the
aggregation of value through the biofertilizante production and biogas. The gas formation inside of the
biodigestor makes possible a reduction of up to 60% of the volume of dejections. The resultant gas can
have domestic use in stoves and refrigerators, for illumination, as combustible for engines and
generators of electric energy. The objective of the present work was to project and to construct to a
demonstrative unit of production of biogas and biofertilizante, still inexistent in the region. The
present work was lead in the Unidade Experimental de Pesquisas Agropecuárias - UNEPAGRO, the
Instituto Luterano de Ensino Superior de Santarém ILES/ULBRA, and presents the stages of the
construction of a biodigestor whose initial purpose is the storage of biogas produced. The supplying
system is continuous for difference of level being supplied to each two days. The digestion chamber it
has 2,90 dimensions of x 1,65 x 2,00 m of depth with PVC gas tank. The production of esterco funny
swine around 108 kilograms per day producing approximately 8,4 m3 of biogas per day.
