Resumo:
the objective of this work was to evaluate the growth of changes nugget-of-gold
Duranta repens ' Aurea ', in 5 levels of shading in relation its height. The experiment was carried
through in the months of July and August of 2005, in the UNIOESTE (State University of the West of
the Parana) campus of Cascavel- Pr, situated city in the region west of the Parana. The seedbeds had
been prepared with composition of 50% of normal land and 50% of humus; e soon later made the
plantation of 14 plants for line in 5 distinct lines. Each line with a different level of shading 50%, 30%
0% 70% and 18%. During seven weeks they had been made measurements in the related plants how
much its height, and the results had been submitted to the analysis of variance and the averages compared for the test of Scott-Knott, to the level of 5% of significance. In the measurements carried
through in 7 weeks, it was observed that the height of the changes of gold nugget had not had significant difference until 4th week, and of 5th week until 7th equal week they had presented growth
estatisticamente. For not presenting satisfactory growth in the winter one sends regards that it is made
its handling at times and regions of hot climate.
