Abstract

This work make the analysis of the soil shear strength behavior for different strain rates in loading and unloading in cylindrical silos of low height/ diameter ratio. Through triaxial compression tests of the CU type (Consolidated undrained), the effect of the strain rate can be observed in the soil rupture stress.
