Resumo:
The Air Quality in poultry facilities is a concern factor because, It
depending of gases concentrations found in these facilities, It can be harmful to birds
performance, carting damages to the producers. This work aimed to evaluate the minimal
ventilation system influence in the harmful gases concentration. The experiment was
accomplished at 2 poultry facilities (2 treatments) of the Perdigão Agroindustrial
company, in the winter period, one to them endowed with minimal ventilation system
equipped with three fans (300 m3/min), placed in the ceiling, parallel to the floor,
ventilating air inside the hangar. The treatment with minimal ventilation system resulted
in a significant decrease of the temperature inside the poultry facilities, carting losses in
the animal performance acted by the production factor and feed conversion. The concentrations of CO, CO2 and NH3, in the two treatments, inside the facilities, were
lower then the exposure limits for broiler production.
