Resistência à compressão de tijolos de solo-cimento submetidos a diferentes tempos de cura.

Abstract

This research had as objective to evaluate the resistance to compression of cement-soil bricks made of common soil and those made of the raw material from the termite under two different cure times. It was also accomplished the determination of water absorption. There has been concluded that the resistance to compression of the studied bricks improved with the increase of the cure ages. All treatments presented good values of resistance to compression for the age of 28 days. The bricks made of the raw material of the termite presented decrease of water absorption with time (-13,.5%) on the contrary of those that used common soil (+1,2%).
