Abstract:
The present research was carried out in the Department of Rural Engineering of FCA,
UNESP – Campus of Botucatu, located at the Lageado Experimental Farm, Botucatu Municipality,
São Paulo State, with geographical location defined by coordinates latitude 22 degrees 51’ south (S)
and longitude 48 degrees 26’ west (W) and average altitude of 786 meters above sea level.
An automatized system of data collect and monitoring was installed to analyze the set of photovoltaic
modules. It was constituted by three modules of 100 Wp connected in parallel, installed with their
faces towards the geographical north and with an angle of inclination of 33° (local latitude +10°).
The objective was to obtain the efficiency of the photovoltaic system for a particular condition of
operation in the field, taking the measures of electrical and meteorological greatness and, from those
measures, having the values provided by the producer as the datum of the module plate, those data
have been corrected to the pattern condition of operation, and, for this correction, two methods were
used: Lorenzo (1994), called method M1, and Cuevas (1985), called method M2.
The methodology of correction used by method M2 showed a result nearer to the valued provided by
the producer, for the pattern condition of operation.
