Basing on data collected by an anemometer during the period from 1986 to 1999 supplied by IAPAR, I esteem her the predominance strips for the Cascavel-Pr aregion. The analysis of the data to demonstrate a predominance in the direction of the so much wind for the dry period as for the humid period in the northeast direction (NE), with influence also of the direction east (E), allowing the choice of the characteristics of the equipment type that will be applied for the use of wind energy.
