Résumé:
The residues generated in animal production represent a significant fraction of the
biomass originating from productive systems and its recicly in search of the largest economical and
environmental sustainability it is shown favorable. For the execution of experiment were used the
feces produced by kid goats Saanen to the 90, 120 and 150 days of age and fed with three diets (d1, d2
and d3 = diets 1 (80% forage (F) and 20% concentrated (C)), 2 (60% F and 40% C) and 3 (40% F and
60% C), respectively). 12 liters batch digesters, initial concentration total solids (TS) of 8% and
determinate the most probable number of total and fecal coliforms in affluent and effluent of
biodigestors, was adopted. As results were observed reductions of the numbers of total and fecal
coliforms of 100.0%, without effects of the diets with that the animals were fed or of the age in that
animals were evaluated, on the obtained reductions. The anaerobic digestion demonstrated to be an
efficient technique in the treatment of the wastes, allowing all the effluents to presented numbers of
termotolerantes coliforms inferior to the limits tolerated by CONAMA (rivers of class 2).
