Resumo:
The Supervised Internship in Early Childhood Education is an experience of unique
relevance in the academic trajectory of undergraduate students in the Pedagogy
course, as it is a moment that provides many discoveries and teachings that will
significantly add to the formative process of the future Pedagogue. Thus, this
monographic work aims to analyze the contributions of the Supervised Internship in
Early Childhood Education to the initial training of CFP/UFCG students. Theoretically,
it carried out a bibliographic review of authors who discuss Supervised Internship,
Early Childhood Education and teacher training. This is a field and documentary
research, with a qualitative approach and descriptive character. Through data analysis,
it was found that undergraduate students understand the Supervised Internship in
Early Childhood Education as an opportunity to learn about the school reality and how
the teaching-learning process of students takes place, as well as the importance of the
link between theory and practice, and how it was a moment of great challenges and
teacher development. It is concluded that the Supervised Internship in Early Childhood
Education is an important process for teacher training, as it provides the professional
with the opportunity to experience the reality of the school environment and broaden
their worldview in practice, and enables the teacher in training to have a critical
reflection on pedagogical work as a whole.
