Resumo:
The consolidation of the use of the TDR for measurement of soil moisture, for being a not
destructive method of easy accomplishment and immediate reply, has generated chances in the confection
of TDR probes. The present work aimed to construct TDR probes with connecting wire that can be
changed, using as base ortoftalic resin and also the calibration of the probes constructed compared with
original probes. They had been constructed micron-lisímetros with approach volume of 2000 cm3, in the
interior of which was conditioned soil classified as DISTROFERRIC RED NITOSSOL. The results
showed that the construced two wire probes have quality desired for use in studies of water management
and that in the initial calibration had a small variation in the measures of Ka when compared with the
original tree wire probe.
