Resumo:
The objective of the realization of the present work was to analyze in level of means
the values of the distribution decendial, monthly and annual of precipitation for Cidade Gaucha, State
of Paraná. Conduct of the experiment in the Campus of the Sandstone, University Estadual de
Maringá, Cidade Gaúcha, lat 23°22' S, lon 52°56' W and medium altitude of 404 m. The data of
pluvial precipitation were obtained in daily level, in the period of January of 1977 to December of
2004. Analyze accomplished them proved an annual medium precipitation of 1698 mm, with a
deviation of 307 mm. The behavior of the monthly averages of precipitation and their respective
standard deviations show that the months of June, July and August are the medium of pluvial
precipitation months of minor and December, January and February, they were characterized as being
the rainiest quarter in the area. Analyzed of the quarters larger and less precipitation pluviométric, it is
observed that in the medium of precipitation quarter of minor, his distribution decendial obtained the
same behavior, already in the quarter of larger precipitation, the first and third decendios of December,
the first of January and third of the February, they introduced minor medium of precipitation,
observing in the other months a great variation in the precipitation during the month.
