Resumo:
In this article they will be analyzed the impact on the collection of the water in the
culture of the coconut in 15 municipal districts of the basin of the river Paraíba, as well as the price of
the energy of necessary irrigation for the culture (R$ ha-1 year-1). The researched variety was Cocos
nucifera L. in the second year of development, irrigated under the aspersion system with efficiency of
75%. The municipal districts were chosen for they present a larger variance in the climate conditions,
in way to analyze different irrigation demands. The tariff of energy for the municipal district of
Campina Grande possesses as dealership of energy CELB, and for the other places, SAELPA. The
results showed that the belonging municipal districts the sub-basin of Taperoá demands a larger
demand water for the fact from presenting a higher evapotranspiração, besides a low index
precipitation and, consequently, a larger impact in the costs.
