Resumo:
In the present work three discharge regionalisation were analyzed to estimate minimum
discharge with a 7-day duration and a 10-year return period (Q7,10) for different sections of the
Paracatu river basin, which are located on the Entre Ribeiros stream. The regionalization methods used
were: traditional; based on the proportionality of specific flows; and based on the conservation of
mass/continuity of flows. The Integrated System to the Water Resources Management (SINGERH)
was carred out to estimated the Q7,10 to different sections. Was evidenced, in the obtained results, in
some sections, expressive differences in the Q7,10 values for the three regionalization methods studied.
Therefore is necessary a larger care in the choice of the regionalization method, because it can hamper
the process of decision in the water resource management, coming to generate conflicts.
