Resumo:
The aim of this investigation was to evaluate the consumption and electricity costs of
electric energy in culture of soybean crop under three irrigation regimes: T1 - irrigation effected when
the soil water depletion reached 40% of RU; T2 irrigation effected when the soil water depletion
reached 60% of RU; T3 -irrigation effected when the soil water depletion reached 80% of RU; T4 – no
irrigation. The research was conducted in the experimental area of Rural Engineering Department –
FCAV/UNESP, São Paulo State University. The bean crop was irrigated with a conventional sprinkle
system. The consumption of electric energy of irrigation system were measured by a Measurer of
Energy (mod. Microvip3 - Elcontrol, Italy). To determine the expenditure with electrical energy the
prices were obtained from ‘Companhia Paulista de Força e Luz’ (CPFL). The results of this study
showed that treatment irrigated with larger frequency present smaller consumption of electric energy,
grain yield and cost of electric energy. The green and blue tariff with discounting is the best options
for the three irrigation regimes.
