Résumé:
The observation constitutes the supervised internship phase] with 105 hours.
Carried out in the state education network at the André Vidal de Negreiros Fundamental Education State School CNPJ [il—668.305/000l—39, located at Rua Caetano Dantas
Correia, 222 downtown Cuité—PB. in the period from IS from February to April 26, with the
Mathematics classes (Elementary School). Two classes were observed. the 6th grade C and 7th grade C classes of Elementary School in the afternoon shift, taught by teacher Jaqueline Silva Nascimento. According to observations, the school has a terrible physical structure, since in seventy years of existence it has never undergone any renovation or expansion. It has a qualified teaching staff, most of whom are permanent, and some university students in the area they teach. However, the lack of resources and the lack of physical space make certain activities with the students impossible. The teachers only use the board and books to teach their classes, without presenting any other mediating instrument to improve the teaching and learning of their students. Most assessments revolve around tests, exams and exams, ignoring the entire process of students' knowledge acquisition and performance during the teaching process. Classes are made up of heterogeneous groups that depend on the shifts they are in; their behavior varies from class to class, and there is no effective relationship between the school population. During the internship, it was possible to conclude that the test has a quantitative value for parents, teachers and education professionals, whose attention is focused on retaining or promoting students in the grades they are in. () Does the system focus on approval and failure percentages? Parents want their children to pass.
