Resumo:
Instruments for determination of the flow can be divided among those that use measure
means direct or quantitative and those that are indirect, that is, rate meters are called. The direct meters
are constituted of a reservoir of known section and of a device of measurement of the height water
level that can be manual or electronic. It was aimed at with the work, to automate an flow meter
quantitative through the use of level sensor, built with electronic components of low cost. Mounted in
an electronic circuit, those sensor ones were monitored by a program done in Delphi language using
the parallel port as middle of communication between the electronic circuit and the computer. Tests
accomplished with the meter they showed that the level sensor used presented high sensibility in the
detection of the water level, making possible your use in flow meters. Those, for your time, can be
used as primary pattern for the calibration of the indirect flow meters, as well as in research laboratory
for obtaining of the flow-pressure curve emitters for irrigation.
