Résumé:
In contemporary society, the influence of technology is omnipresent, especially in the field
of education, where it has revolutionized early literacy methods. Given the need to better
understand this role, this research has the general objective of analyzing the technologies
used in the literacy process in the early years of primary education, seeking to extract
information from recent academic studies. Specifically, it aims to identify the main
technologies adopted; describe the literacy interventions enhanced by technology in
improving reading and writing skills among students in the early years of primary
education; and verify the impact of technology interventions on literacy in the early years of
primary education. The methodology adopted for this study is a systematic literature
review, chosen for its rigorous and comprehensive approach to synthesizing the results of
existing research. This method allows for a structured and transparent examination of a
wide range of academic literature, ensuring the inclusion of high-quality evidence and
minimizing biases through predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. In the research, it
was found that digital technologies play a crucial role in supporting early literacy. The use
of digital games, reading platforms and other technological tools increases student
engagement and motivation, promoting their autonomy in learning. In addition, there has
been a growing need for flexible educational environments, especially during the COVID-
19 pandemic, where distance learning has become essential. Early integration of digital
literacy skills alongside traditional ones prepares students for the challenges of the digital
age. In order for the research to gain theoretical basis, this research has the presence of
some authors such as: Santos (2018), Almeida (2000), Alexandre (2017), Pretto (2008),
Andrade (2011), Piaget (1990), Silva (2019), Queiroz; Filho (2019), Blandino (2016)
among others. In summary, the research highlights the essential role of digital
technologies in early literacy, boosting student engagement and autonomy. Given the
growing importance of digital literacy, it is essential to integrate technological skills from
the early stages of education to prepare students for the challenges of the modern world.
