Avaliação da uniformidade de aplicação de água de sistemas de irrigação pressurizados em fruticultura.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the performance of five irrigation systems. All systems were micro irrigation, four micro sprinkler and one drip irrigation system. The total area evaluated was 67 hectares of irrigated fruit crops. All fields are located southwest city of state of Sao Paulo, Paranapanema, which is considered to be one of the most important areas of peach production in Brazil. The micro irrigation systems studied here, showed good water distribution uniformity rates, above 80%. The drip irrigation system, however showed a low uniformity rate caused by the lack of a maintenance program.
