Resumo:
In order to improve the use of natural rainfall by managing supplemental irrigation of a
coffee crop, it was carried out a simulation work based on experimental field work of 16 years with
water balance resulted of soil moisture sampling and interpolation from climatological information.
Simulated irrigation with 20 to 50 mm depth with depletion of 50% showed that there was a reduction
on deep percolation using light irrigation. However, there was a linear increase on number of
irrigations per year.
