Resumo:
Fertirrigation is an important tool in irrigate agriculture when economical
considerations are involved. An example is the use of soluble fertilizers that, although more expensive,
requires lower amounts when compared to conventional fertilizer. A spreadsheet type software, based
in windows, was developed to assist fertirrigation planning, allowing daily management in melon and
watermelon. The system is constituted by a data bank containing information concerning the farm,
soil, crop and characteristics of fertilizers containing N, P and K. The system was inspired in others
utilized for daily fertilization planning in farms. Results obtained were satisfactory in quantifying N, P
and K fertilization, verifying that the use of computers for fertilization planning provided comfort,
quickness and efficiency to the management of melon and watermelon crops.
