Resumo:
To evaluate the ionic concentration on the soil electrical conductivity, this work was
realized an irrigated area, sited at the Distrito de Irrigação do Perimetro Araras Norte (DIPAN), Ceará,
Brazil. To monitoring the salt interchange in the soil profile, samples were taken to layers of 0 – 0.30
m, 0.30-0.60 m, 0.60-0.90 m e 0.90-1.20 m. The sampled period went from May/2003 to Sept/2005. In
this work was considered the following attributes: Electrical conductivity (EC), Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+
and Cl-. The field has been irrigated since 2001 and irrigation system is microirrigation. To evaluate
relation between main ion and electrical conductivity was used correlation lines between both
parameters. Results showed up that magnesium ion play large concentration in conductivity values,
and the chloride concentration was constant in the layers down. Analyzed ion were originated of
minerals fertilization. The varying of ion concentration in soil layers was occasioned because of the
temperature.
