Comportamento da evaporação de água do tanque "Classe A" em Uberlândia - MG: análise da série temporal.

Abstract

This work presented a water evaporation analysis using the time serie models. The analyzed period was January to December of the year 2005. The used statistical procedures were: exploratory analysis and forecast using the addictive and multiplicative Holt-Winters models with 2005 data for verification of forecast. The time series showed trend and seasonal components and the Holt-Winters multiplicative seasonal showed a good performance in smoothing. As a conclusion, the water evaporation series time model should consider the trend and seasonality
