Résumé:
This paper analyzes the underground delineation of drains, using two conditions of critical
rain: Rains with maximum duration of one day (Hooghout) and consecutive rains where it is taking in
account its accumulative effect (Kraijenhoff Van De Leur-Maasland). The experiment was accomplished
in UOD (Unit of Operation and Demonstration) of the irrigated perimeter Maniçoba/CODEVASF, in
Juazeiro-BA. The results showed that considering the hydrology of the area in study, the equations and
conditions used by Kraijenhoff Van De Leur-Maasland for consecutive rains resulted in a project with a
design more economical.
