Abstract:
The knowledge of wetted bulb dimensions under surface drip irrigation is important for
the design and management of the localized irrigation.. The objective of this work was to propose and
to evaluate models using functions of several variables to estimate the values of maximum diameter
(Dmax), maximum depth (Zmax), superficial diameter (Dsup) and the depth where occurs the maximum
diameter (ZDmax) in a clay soil. The results showed that the proposed models was estimated
satisfactorily the dimensions of the bulb evaluated.
