Resumen:
In the present work were analyzed the flows allowed to be utilized on watershed of
Entre Ribeiros stream, witch is a tributary of the Paracatu river. The Integrated System to the Water
Resources Management (SINGERH) was carred out to estimated the the flows allowed to be utilized,
which permit to estimate the minimum and medium flows along all the rivers of the basin. Were
considered two criteria of the water use rights concession, the first one, regarding the State of Minas
Gerais (30% of Q7,10) and the second one regarding the Union (70% of Q95). Was considered The
analysis period from january 2006 to december 2010. Was observed the concession impossibility of
new water use rights in the whole period in study when was utilized the 30% of Q7,10 criteria. Was
verified the existence of flows possible to be utilized when the 70% of Q95 was used, resulting in a
residual flow decreasing. Considering the last statement, the criteria of water use rights concession
brings restricton to the expanssion of the water use and consequentely, to the economic and social
development of the region. So is a state duty, to define suitables politics which otimize the
enviromental preservation and the development.
