Resumo:
Text production in the Portuguese language classes, has been a reason for discussion and reflection by teachers concerned about learning difficulties in relation to writing skills demonstrated by students. From this perspective, this study aims to implement teaching strategies aimed at argumentative textual production through the textual genre of opinion article for students in the 9th year of Elementary School. The specific objectives of the research involve the discussion of theoretical aspects of discursive/textual genres, argumentation and teaching Portuguese in the classroom; highlights the importance of the opinion article genre to the construction of argumentativeness in the classroom and the presentation of a pedagogical intervention proposal organized in the form of a textbook to support Portuguese language teachers in developing the ability to produce argumentative textual content from the textual genre opinion article. The research focuses on the contributions of Textual Linguistics and is anchored in the studies of Geraldi (2012), Antunes (2003;2009), Koch (2011), Koch (2016), Bakhtin (2003), Marcuschi (2008), Köche, Boff, Marinello (2014), Passarelli (2012), Menegassi (2010-2021-1998), in addition to the National Common Curricular Base (BRASIL, 2018). This is an applied, qualitative, exploratory, descriptive research and follows action research procedures, with diagnostic activities, questionnaire, observation and analysis of the texts produced. The analysis of the results of the study shows significant advances in textual production based on the intervention, since the collaborating students, from the ninth year, demonstrated, at the end of the workshops, that they were capable of producing texts meeting the characteristics of the proposed argumentative genre, the opinion article. Finally, the research presents a pedagogical notebook with seven workshops with activities aimed at textual production based on opinion articles, with the purpose of supporting Portuguese language teachers in the process of teaching argumentative writing. With this, it is desired to expand the possibilities of working with writing to develop skills that enable students to interact socially through language.
