Abstract:
Effect of different vegetal coverings and soil tillage systems in bulk density, water
contend and productivity of the soybean. The present research was carried in Cidade Gaúcha, PR,
Brazil, Campus Arenito from University State of Maringá. This work evaluated the development of
the soybean under the influence of vegetal covering and management of the soil in Dystrofic Red
Latosol. One used oats, turnip, hairy vetch, pea, millet and lupine. One evaluated productivity, water
contend and bulk density. The system no-tillage had greater water contend and soil bulk density with
lower productivity. The values bulk density and water contend increased with depht in soil tillage
systems.
