Resumo:
On Brazilian semiarid (SAB), the agriculture family is the main activity on developement. However, in face of environmental characteristics and low disponibility of technological tools, there are many difficulties for those who depends to this. Due this perspective, the main objective of this reasearch was verify which water capture andstorage technologies have being used for the development of agriculture family and are promoving familiarity, protagonism and social autonomy on the Brazilian semiarid. For this, an review of the literature available online was made by three steps: first, we delimited kewords, files and websites for consult (ASA, DNOCS, EMBRAPA and SUDENE). For the second step, the material for analisis was selected by criteria. Finally, as third step, we listed all technologies identified. Each one was studied separately, focusing on their characteristics, benefits, appropriate place and advantages for the development of agriculture family, autonomy of families and coexistence with the SAB. Six technologies were found due this research: (I) underground dam with irrigation supplementary, (II) irrigation barrier, (III) canvas trench barrier, (IV) cauldron or stone tank, (V) boardwalk and runoff cistern and (VI) excavated wells. All of them shows to be efficient and suitable for the farmers needs as well as to Brazilian semiarid (SAB) characteristics. Furthermore, they're inexpensive and easy to implement, allowing the development of agriculture familiy on SAB and effectively providing "Familiarity of the Brazilian Semiarid".
