Resumo:
The present work aimed to understand the journey of graduates in the Pedagogy course at the
Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Cajazeiras/PB campus, regarding
undergraduate research. Search for an answer to the following question: What is the training
path for research for graduate students of the Pedagogy course at the Teacher Training Center
(CFP), at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Cajazeiras campus- PB? As a
theoretical contribution, authors such as: Bridi and Pereira (2004), Joca and Santos (2020;
2021), Severino (2008), Barzotto (2021), Fernandes (2021), among other authors that express
concepts, questions and conceptions about research, scientific initiation, teacher training and
the training of teacher researchers. The TCC is qualitative research, with a basic purpose. As a
methodological procedure for data collection, a semi-structured interview was used with four
undergraduate students from the Pedagogy course at CFP/UFCG, campus Cajazeiras-PB. The
work concludes that in the Pedagogy course there is an approach focused on research, as well
as the training of research teachers, however this training is not explicit/intentional, nor is it
part of everyone's approach( as teachers, but highlight the guidance and experience of teachers
as a fundamental element in training.
