Abstract:
The main goal of this work was to study the effect of the different levels irrigation at
the papaya crop, group Formosa, variety Tainung Nº 1. Study was carried in the located at the Distrito
de Irrigação Jaguaribe Apodi (DIJA), Ceará, Brazil. Levels irrigation applied was correspondent to 50,
75, 100, 125 and 150% of the Class A Pan evaporation. Experimental delineation used was casualizeds
blocks with three repetitions. Analyzed tributes ware: length of fruit, productivity of fruit and total
levels soluble solids in the fruit. Results showed that great levels irrigation increased the length of fruit
and increased the productivity of fruit, too. However, don’t was observad effect significative to total
levels soluble solids in the fruit.
