Abstract

In order to evaluate the agronomic efficiency of fungicidal application products through irrigation water for controlling rust chemically of the coffee plant (Hemileia vastatrix), and the influence of these products with fertilizer, it was installed in the Experimental Field “Fazenda Escola”, in Uberaba University, from November 2003 to July 2005 (two harvests), with coffee “Catuaí Vermelho” irrigated by drip system. After the evaluations, it was ended that: even in years of high rust infection, the control of rust with the use of Ciproconazol + Tiametoxan through irrigation water is viable, the addition of fertilizers (N + K2O) with Ciproconazol + Tiametoxan and Tiametoxan, through irrigation water, provides a slightly improvement in the control of the disease.
