Resumo:
Territorial development is a topic that has been widely discussed,
making the subject of great relevance in scientific and social circles. This work focused
in examining territorial development based on public action programs, focusing
in dairy cattle farming and the role of the Territorial Development Program
(PRODETER). The main objective of the study is to analyze the impact of PRODETER on the
territorial development through dairy cattle farming, with specific objectives
aimed at discussing the conditions for development, identifying practices
effective in cattle farming and the articulation of public policies for this purpose. For your
construction, a documentary and bibliographic approach was used to collect data. They were
consulted documents from Banco do Nordeste, available in its library and website, in addition to
academic literature on the topic. The study evaluated cities with success in cattle farming in
PRODETER, analyzing the factors that contributed to territorial development in these
localities. The data was analyzed based on reports, identifying practices of
success and challenges faced. In conclusion, the study sought to demonstrate whether PRODETER
has a positive impact on territorial development, offering support to small and
medium producers and promoting advances in economically disadvantaged regions.
