Resumo:
The present work has as objective the economical evaluation of the cultivation of the
cassava under irrigation in an uncertainty situation regarding the benefits that the technology can
provide. The cassava is known as a resistant culture to the drought, the use of the irrigation in that
culture can be justifies in some circumstances, which promote an answer in the increment of the
productivity contemplating in a better return for the producer. The sensibility of the solution can be
examined for countless variables, however, the variation of values for all the variables of a project can
produce results difficult of be synthesized. Like this, in practice, it is convenient to choose some
varied more sensitive and to analyze the profitability of the project being varied one of every time. A
usual method to analyze the uncertainty is to esteem one or more factors considering the conditions
optimist and pessimistic, to investigate the effect of those variations on the results of the analysis.
That work indicates that the cultivation of the cassava under irrigation has 77% of probability of
giving profit.
