Résumé:
This work was developed with the objective of evaluating the deflector trajectory
outlets influence on reach radius, Christiansen Uniformity Coefficient (CUC) and water distribution
curve shape of the RAIN BIRD® impact sprinkler, model LF1200™. It was used three deflector angles
( 6º - purple, 10º - white and 16º - red), and 2,59 mm nozzle diameters, working on 280 kPa operation
pressure. Bigger reach radius was achieved when using greatest angles deflector, then, the white
Deflector trajectory outlets presents better CUC. “Irregular”, “elliptical or rectangular” and
“triangular” formats of water distribution curves were found for the purple, white and red deflector
trajectory outlets, in this order.
