Resumen:
The evapotranspiration estimate is very important in the planning and handling of
crops. The objective of this work was to determinate the daily evapotranspiration - ETC of a banana
(Musa sp.) orchard in the Irrigated District of Jaguaribe-Apodi in Quixeré - CE (5º4’35”S;
37º51’54”O), using the eddy covariance method. The experiment was installed in the central part of an
area with about 300 ha, at Fazenda Frutacor. The evolution of Rn, H and LE values in the three
months of analyzed data was relatively equal. That might be result of the season (September 02 to
November 31) and for the irrigated condition. The minimum and maximum ET measured values in the
analyzed period were equal respectively to 3,2 and 4,5 mm.
