Resumo:
This work was carried through in as the semester of 2005, with the objective to
evaluate the total production, the average weight and the number of fruits in the gália cantaloups type
when submitted the different doses of nitrogen and potassium applied in fertirrigation. The used
experimental designer was block-type randonmized with three repetitions. The treatments had
consisted of the combination of three doses of N (N1-42, N2-84 and N3-126 kg ha-1) and of K (K1-106,
K2-212 and K3-322 kg.ha-1), more three treatments add (to N0K0, N0K2 and N2K0 being N2 and K2 the
doses recommended according to literature. Three harvests between 63º and 71º had been carried
through days after the sowing. The income of the gália cantaloups grew with the dose of nitrogen
applied in fertirrigação, different of the potassium that did not affect the productivity of the culture.
The average weight of fruit was maximum for intermediate doses of N and minors doses of K. The
number of fruits for plant was affected by the doses of N and K of interactive form.
