Resumo:
This work had as objective to evaluate the effect of different drip irrigation systems
on the yield of banana crop cv. BRS Tropical. The experiment followed a random block design
with five treatments and four replications. The treatments were:T1-drip irrigation system with two
emitters of 3.75 L/h per plant with one lateral line along plant row; T2 - drip irrigation system with
four emitters of 3.75 L/h per plant with one lateral line along plant row; T3 - drip irrigation system
with four emitters of 3.75 L/h per plant with two lateral lines along plant row; T4 - drip irrigation
system with five emitters of 3.75 L/h per plant with one lateral line along plant row; T5 - drip
irrigation system with ten emitters of 3.75 L/h per plant with two lateral lines along plant row. The
production variables were yield of bunches (t.ha-1), number of fruits per bunch and mean weight of
fruits. There was no effect of different irrigation systems on yield of BRS Tropical banana.
Treatments T1 (two drippers per plant) and T2 (four drippers per plant) with a single lateral line per
plant row may be used under coastal Tablelands for banana crop.
