Resumo:
The explotation of the mineral water is a characteristic activity of the City of Poá,
which since the decade of 30 associates it with the water to its name and the fact of being a Hydro
mineral Ranch. The city and its sources come mainly suffering risks from contamination for non treated sewers derivering from surrounding cities, irregular deforestations, not planned occupation,
and other problems with harmful consequences to the environment. A detailed study (Geological and
Hydrogeology Mapping - environmental and geological government bureau) it demonstrated the great
risk of loss of this resource, with economic, social and ambient impacts. According to a research, from
the beginning of the 70, the City has not been able to solve the problem. So In this sense, we are
suggesting some economic ways to minimize this problem, they are instruments supported for "main
stream" neoclassic and new trends suggested from other chains as the economy of the environment.
