Resumo:
This study aimed to analyze how the Criança Feliz Program helped the development of children participating in the program. To achieve the aforementioned objective, we defined the following specific objectives: to highlight the impact of the Criança Feliz Program on the routine and quality of life of participating families; to identify the benefits brought to participants of the Criança Feliz Program; and to investigate the perception of users regarding the implementation of the Program. The methodology used a descriptive approach, with bibliographic research and field survey to collect primary and secondary data. The structured questionnaire was applied online to families participating in the Criança Feliz Program in Serra Branca-PB, and the data were analyzed quantitatively. The results show that most participants have been in the Criança Feliz Program for more than 2 years, evaluating it as very positive for the family routine, with emphasis on the increase in playful activities, high-quality home visits, and improvements in the motor and social development of children. The study concluded that the Criança Feliz Program contributed positively to child development and the quality of life of families in Serra Branca-PB, despite difficulties such as lack of training and resources. It is recommended to expand the research to other regions and to deepen the study of the challenges faced.
