Resumen:
This research had as objective to develop non-lineal programming models for land
grading, applicable for areas with irregular format and that minimize the land movement. Software
GAMS was used for the calculation. These models were compared to the Method of the Generalized
Minimum Squares, developed by Scaloppi & Willardson (1986), having as evaluation parameter the
moved land volume. The conclusions is that the models of no-lineal programming developed in this
research, were shown appropriate for application in irregular areas and supplied smaller values of land
movement when compared to the method of the minimum squares.
