Résumé:
In the 8o. semester of the course Agronomy in University Federal of Grande Dourados,
state of Mato Grosso do Sul, has been offered the Irrigation discipline. The need of a larger load of
practical activities of field was observed. This fact took to the formation of work groups (GTs) to
development research and production activities with the same characteristics of Scientific Initiation.
This project was financed by Fundação de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento do Ensino, Ciência e
Tecnologia do Estado do Mato Grosso do Sul (FUNDECT) and deprived companies. It was acquired a
mini central pivot, for the area that was divided in eight parts of 0,5 ha. Each part was one GT with
one coordinator, and the general coordinator. These GTs elaborated a project to implant a culture in
the field, more reports during the months and one in the end for the foreseen activities and developed.
The methodological proposal interfered positively in the process teaching-learning, because: a) it
provided more practical classes of field; b) the academics exercised research activities and production;
and c) it was emphasized the challenges of working in team, because nor all have the same motivation,
disposition and time.
