Plantas individuais utilizadas nas mensurações para análise de crescimento e desenvolvimento de algodoeiro herbáceo: identificá-las ou não?.

Abstract

An experiment was driven in 2004 in Embrapa Cotton Experimental Field, Barbalha, CE, under irrigation conditions, with the objective of determining the differences in the use of "identified plants or not" in the evaluation of the growth and development of upland cotton. The experimental design was in randomized blocks in Split Plot in Time scheme, with two treatments and ten repetitions. It was ended, preliminaryly, that: without the certainty of the use of rigid statistical criteria of choice of plants, it advises to proceed the identification of plants in the studies of growth and development analysis of the upland cotton.
