Resumo:
Currently, to monitor the tensions in the soil is possible, by means of sensors that can
inform the level of compacting in the profile of the soil Santos Filho,(2003). By means of the necessity
of bigger studies in this area, the present work had for objective to evaluate the instrumented blad
Sensory Profile, developed for Andrade et al. (2001) for measurement the forces in the profile of the
sandy soil, dry, verifying the capacity of identification of the compact layers. For such, in field
conditions, in dry soil with 5%, using the Sensor Profile, under the speed 0,67 m/s, a Strata Gauge for
determination of the moister content and density of the soil and on Hydraulic Penetrometer to measure
the resistance the penetration in the soil. As result of the research, it is concluded that the sensors
presented consistency of data, when compared the techniques of inquiry of the compact layers in the
soil profile, for the traditional methods.
