Variabilidade espaço-temporal da evapotranspiração de referência para o estado de Minas Gerais.

Abstract

The objective of this work was to determine the variability in the time and in the space of the evapotranspiration of reference (ET0) for the state of Minas Gerais during the year. The values of ET0 were dear for the method of Penman-Monteith, standardized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), starting from data originated diaries of registrations of 42 climatological stations of the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) regarding a period of 17 years (1961 to 1978). In the general, the results showed that the evapotranspiration of reference is plenty variable in Minas Gerais, getting to present medium values of 914 mm year-1 to values of 1.977 mm year-1. The largest variations, so much space as storms, they are registered in the north of the state, where they also happen the largest values of ET0, showing to be an area with larger need of the use of the irrigation and appropriate to the cultivation of crops adapted to the stress water. In function of the clear distinction that they presented the data of ET0 geospatializeds in the you measured areas of the state of Minas Gerais, the knowledge of the correct value of ET0 in each place will bring benefits to the producers in the handling of the irrigation.
