Résumé:
The production of organic coffee has increased in all country, about 18% to the year.
Not accepted the organic production no type of application of chemical products, becoming the
process most difficult. The mechanical control of harmful herb in the culture of the organic coffee in
situations of not mechanized farmings is made through hoe or efficient and must onerous tools of
animal traction, procedures little when it is about the cost of the man power. In the state of Minas
Gerais, in situations of mechanized farming, the use of mechanical croppers of small hoes of the type
swallow is very common wing. Due to necessity of if searching alternative techniques of control of
harmful herb in the space between lineses of the farming of organic coffee, this work if considers to
evaluate a new device of control of harmful herb. The results had shown that the equipment if shows
to an excellent alternative for the control of harmful herb and formation of the covering deceased on
the ground in the space between lineses of the farming of organic coffee.
