Resumo:
This work aimed to analyze the fuel and oil consumption of a tractor-seeder-fertilizer
under a no-till system of soy, in the areas of Dourados city, Brazil. The influence of the displacement
speed (2.72, 4.85 e 5.91 km h-1), of the depth of soil cutting (58 and 62 mm) and of type of furrow
opening mechanism (furrow plough and double wheel) were evaluated. The experiment was made as
split-splot design, where units had the mechanisms of furrow opening, subunits were the displacement
speeds and the depths of soil cutting, with three replicate, in randomly design. The furrow plough
mechanism demanded larger slip, specific power and force of traction. No influence was observed of
furrow opening mechanism on specific power, under the small depths of soil cutting. The furrow
plough mechanism was increased as the depths of soil cutting increased. The specific force was
decreased as the displacement speed of the machine increased.
