Resumo:
The objective of this work was evaluating the yield of the corn crop (Zea mays L.) and
depth of seed deposition of the furrow opener mechanism in no till machines. This field experiment
was conducted in Experimental Farm Lageado of University of Agronomic Sciences – Unesp –
Campus of Botucatu – SP, in soil classified as Nitosoil Red distroférrico. The experimental design was
randomized block, with four replications and five treatments: stems in the depth 0,20m; stems in the
depth 0,10m; manure direct in the soil; double disk e without manure and furrow opener. The results
showed that were not statistical differences among the treatments, showing that the furrow opener
mechanism can work in the greatest operation depth, have not problem with the depth of seed
deposition.
