Résumé:
The recent increase in conservative tillage questions for its possible benefit in
decreasing the soil compaction risk by wheeling. Excessive compaction has damaging
consequences for agriculture and the environment. The direct drilling implementation is likely to
change the soil porosity and the soil carbon content in the long term. This work has the objective of
evaluate the effect of those two factors in the mechanical resistance of soil through the structural
void ratio in function of the compression curve. Tests Oedometer were carried out in samples of soil
undisturbed comparing two soils managements systems since 1970 The results show that the
structural void ratio decreased with the diminution of the content of carbon and with the increase of
the content of water.
